About 2819 jewelry
Have you ever owned an item that seemed to be made just for you? A jacket, a watch, a ring that magically attracted you and spoke to you?
My name is Tim Esser and I began making jewelry in the beginning of 2024 with the goal to create such special signature pieces, that you love and wear every day and everywhere you go.
Individuality
I see jewelry as more than just a piece of metal - I believe a piece of jewelry is like a personal artifact that underlines the individual appearance of its wearer. That´s why I treat every piece with sincerity and devotion. Only the best designs stand the test and will be brought into reality. Crafted by hand, I take my time to create a perfect piece of jewelry.
Love for craftmanship
Each piece in the 2819 jewelry collection is carefully crafted by hand from selected materials to ensure a high level of quality that you can see and feel.
By marrying modern age technologies with old-fashioned craftmanship, I take the best of what digitalization brought us, while sticking to old hand-crafting techniques.
Some pieces are smithed and soldered into their final form.
For others I use a modelling program to create 3-d-prints, that are then sand-cast into a jewelry piece - Born out of fire.
For complex pieces the lost-wax-casting method is used.
The cast piece is then shaped by hand until the desired result is achieved.
Materials
For most pieces I use the well known 925 sterling silver, wich is a silver alloy that contains 92.5% silver, the rest being other metals like copper, that has been mixed with it to make it more solid.
For some other pieces however, I work with 950 silver – a more exclusive alloy containing 95% silver, resulting in a brighter finish and higher purity.
